Partners

William Yerburgh

Managing Partner

William founded Mitheridge in 2010. He acts as Chairman of the Executive and Investment Committees and is a Trustee of the Mitheridge Foundation.

Before his real estate career, William worked in Equity Capital Markets at Westhouse Securities, now part of Shore Capital, and started his career in financial services at a subsidiary of Ant Group.

In addition to his corporate activities, William is a Trustee of the Royal Academy of Arts.

Following undergraduate studies at both Newcastle and Oxford Brookes Universities, William obtained an MBA from London Business School.

David Hirst

Partner

David is responsible for Mitheridge’s operational platform and oversees strategic business activity. He is a member of the Executive Committee and the Investment Committee and is a Trustee of the Mitheridge Foundation.

Prior to joining Mitheridge, David spent 15 years as Executive Director of UBS Asset Management’s Real Estate & Private Markets division. He was a member of the Real Estate Investment and Lending Committees for Europe and Brazil.

While at UBS, David founded and led UBS’s Real Estate and Private Markets global sustainability programme.

David started his career as a lawyer at BCLP specialising in real estate.

Tim Simpson

Partner

Tim oversees all development activities at Mitheridge. He has spent the majority of his career focused on residential development. He is a member of The Executive and Investment Committees.

Prior to Mitheridge, Tim spent 15 years as a Board Director for CPC Group, with responsibility for development and planning matters on over £7bn of property.

Prior to joining CPC, Tim spent time working at Ballymore Properties, St James Homes and Thames Water, covering a range of development and planning roles.

Tim has a postgraduate degree in Town Planning.

Daniel Rastegar

Partner

Daniel is a Partner within the Investment team. Daniel plays a lead role in investment and portfolio management across the Mitheridge funds.

Prior to joining Mitheridge, Daniel was an Investment Director at CPC Group, focusing on both debt and equity investments. He was a member of the Investment Committee and a board director for several CPC Group companies.

Before joining CPC Group Daniel worked at United Trust Bank, specialising in residential development finance.

Daniel has a degree in Economics from Durham University and qualified as an accountant with KPMG.

Development

Robert Chevis

Development Director

Robert is responsible for leading a number of real estate projects within Mitheridge.

Previously, Robert held development positions at Londonewcastle, Hadley Property Group and Brookfield Asset Management, where he worked on numerous larger residential-led and mixed-use development projects. Such roles have covered a wide range of responsibilities across all stages of development.

Notable projects include the Whitechapel Estate, the redevelopment of Whiteley Shopping Centre, Greenwich Square and the Brent Cross Cricklewood planning application.

Robert graduated from the University of Western Australia and holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours, as well as a Bachelor of Commerce.

Operations & Finance

Charlotte Howard

Operations Director

Charlotte focuses predominantly on special projects and operational aspects of the business.

Prior to joining Mitheridge, Charlotte worked at Rasini Fairway Capital, helping oversee the reporting function of hedge fund services.

She began her career in the Investment Services Group at Credit Suisse, where she held Investment Advisor and Customer Trading FCA positions.

Charlotte graduated with a BA (Hons) in Classical Studies from Manchester University.

Kevin Whitehead

Financial Controller

Kevin is Mitheridge’s Financial Controller and oversees the accounting functions within the business.

Prior to joining Mitheridge, Kevin was the Financial Controller at a Real Estate Fund, which was predominantly in the student residential market. Kevin also worked on various development projects, including Chelsea Barracks whilst at Qatari Diar and the redevelopment of Kings Cross, whilst at Argent.

Kevin graduated from Kingston Business School with a First-class degree in Accounting and Finance and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Baker Tilly (now RSM).

Rhian Maunder Taylor

Operations Assistant

Rhian is an Assistant to the Partners within the Operations team at Mitheridge, where she oversees IT management, office operations and supports investor relations.

Before joining Mitheridge, Rhian worked at NEO Investment Partners working in administrative and operational roles. Prior to her time at NEO, she had a career in Event Management, specialising in large corporate events and destination management.

Rhian graduated with a BA (Hons) in International Event Management from the University of Brighton.

Susanna Cleeve

Personal Assistant to William Yerburgh

Susanna is the Personal Assistant to William Yerburgh. She provides administrative and personal support.

She has previous experience as both a Team Assistant and Private PA supporting senior executives and private individuals across various sectors.

Susanna holds a PA Diploma from the Oxford Media and Business School.

John Robertson

Independent Investment Committee Member

John has had a distinguished career in real estate, most recently as a Partner at Ares Management LP, one of the world’s largest global alternative asset managers.

He retired in late 2017. Prior to this, John was a Partner at AREA Property Partners, acquired by Ares in 2013, and was responsible for managing its European private equity real estate business. Before this, he worked at Portfolio Holdings Ltd, a property investment development company, acting as CEO from 1993 to 2001.

John also serves on the Property Committee of the Mercers Company. He is currently a Governor at Holyport College and recently retired as Chairman of Governors for St Paul’s School, London. John Chairs a Livery Initiative – No Going Back – which mentors, trains, finds jobs, provides accommodation and then protects ex-offenders in and around London.

John graduated with a BSc in Estate Management from the University of Reading.

David Green

Independent Investment Committee Member

David is an Executive Director of CBRE, the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm. He also serves as Chairman of CBRE’s London Investment Division and is a member of the London Leadership Board.

Since joining CBRE in 1994, David has been pivotal to its London business, and has been involved with many of its largest London office and retail transactions. He has responsibility for its London China Team, and has been involved in Japanese investment in London for over 20 years.

Alongside traditional acquisition and disposals, David has extensive experience in structuring joint ventures, including Capital & Counties (Great Capital Partnership), Great Portland Estates (Great Hanover Partnership) and Land Securities (Nova).

David graduated with a BSc in Estate Management from University of Portsmouth.
