Cornelius Medvei

Cornelius’s experience encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate, notably in the retail sector, including as General Counsel to Fenwick Limited, an independent family-owned chain of department stores. Cornelius also has experience in the transport sector, having been a client partner for several UK transport authorities and bodies advising owners, managers and operators on all aspects of their business.

Cornelius has a particular interest in client relationship management. As a partner at S J Berwin / King & Wood Mallesons, he was Head of Clients EU-ME, with responsibility for the firm’s marketing, business development and client relationship functions. Prior to this, he held various roles at Eversheds including Head of Real Estate, London Managing Partner and London Senior Partner.

Cornelius is also a member of the Board of Governors at Southbank Centre and the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Cockpit Arts. Similar external roles in the recent past include being a Trustee of the Whitechapel Gallery and a member of various professional and industry boards, councils and committees.
